Does every one else feel like some one is stealing time from you????? Tomorrow is August and it just feels like it was March and a brand new year just under way!!!!!

Yesterday I ended up doing several things that were not on my list of things I’d planned.  Many many years ago while living in Tonga Islands one day while visiting the markets which were basically for vegetables and fruit and I might add they are the best in the world, every one is so friendly it is like one big happy family.  Also there would be stalls with items from America that had been sent to the undeveloped country by the contain full!!!!!!  Who ever was in charge of what went there had no idea where or what kind of climate Tonga was. It is a tiny island in the middle of the South Pacific where it never goes below around 25C or above around 28C it is paradise lost.  One day I saw a pair of polar bear knee high boots for sale!!!! Many beautiful Hugh silver trays that had been won at golf tournemaents in the 60’s!!!! I brought a pair of ice-skating boots there which I wore when I went to Canada one winter!!!!! Any way one day I was rummaging in this Hugh box of blankets (some thing you never used in Tonga) and at the bottom I saw this beautiful fabric in oranges when the sun caught it it glowed, I pulled and pulled it out and it turned in to a HUGH throw

Silk Persian throw larger than a king size bed cover. I have added silk along the bottom as it hangs but that is really the top????? Click on photo to enlarge and see the detail.

, big enough to cover a King-size bed, it weighed a ton but looked so light.  I had no use for it what so ever but I just could not put it down so bought it for a round $5.00  Hubby fell in love with it when he saw it and we ended up hanging it on the wall were ever we went. It must come from some where around Persia, it is needle punched silk on cotton I think. Well over the last 30 years the fringe has completely fallen in to shreds, it was quite worn when I found it, yesterday when looking for some thing in the loft I found it again, brought it down and decided to remove the old fringe and bind it with a silk Obi.  What a Hugh job I have taken on, just removing the old tatted fringe was a task on it’s own, I now have 1/4 of the binding on  with luck to day I may  get a little more done on it.  I will hang it on  the Tatami room wall when finished as it is to beautiful to be stored away in a attic!!!!

Oven cloth

Have been busy sewing the shirts so not very exciting but satisfying.  Yesterday I made some fabric from a give away in to a oven cloth for a special friend who saw the new issue of a quilting magazine advertises on TV with material give away.  She was up early the day the issue went on sale and was at the stockiest as it opened and bought me the issue.

New quilting mag released last week in OZ for Beginners with my finished Oven cloth made from the free fabrics plus some of mine!!!!!.

I’m not a beginner but decided to make the block up for my friend as she had been so thoughtful. The block you were to make up you can see top right hand corner of the mag under Quilting, was to end up a 8″ square but there was enough fabric of the green and pink to make the squares larger but not the blue so I added some white to the blue and have ended up with a 11″ oven cloth!!!! A much more practical size. I have used a some thick felt I made from an old woolen blanket and backed it with 100% cotton so it is fireproof.  My friend is baking all the time for church stalls,  friends, and her family so this will be a perfect for her.  Over the week-end in the evenings I have been so tired I have just sat and went to bed early so no hand sewing. Now it is back to those shirts today!!!! and a little work on restoring a high chair

A old high chair that is covered in grim I have washed it now it needs steam cleaning then a lot of elbow grease!!!!!!

for my grandson, this chair has seen many years and little cleaning I picked it up in a Opp Shop as a give away as it was in need of so much TLC. I’m steam cleaning off all the grim first then it will be sanding and finally painting.

Have a happy day what ever you are doing Cheers Glenda

WOW Linking with Esther Aliu http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com

Another week has flown past since I linked with Esther’s blog, I must admit it is Esther who keeps me motivated quilting wise and bloging wise!!!!!! My days fly by but WOW  reminds me that another week has gone, this week it is Thursday linking for me though as yesterday I was snowed under with not interesting things to tell you, mind you to day is not much better but I have taken time out to take some photo’s. During the week I made two mini gardens in Hugh pot holders,

Two new plant holders added to drive way with mini gardens in them.

most of my plants I like I put in to holders so the wild turkeys won’t dig them out.

Making up plant holders up!!!

Adding planters like this adds height in the garden but mostly stops those Wild turkeys from digging the tender plants

On Sunday after-noon hubby helped me in the garden cutting down all the palm fronds I wanted removed to let in the light

Light now able to filter in to the garden.

See how much has been removed so far

A Hugh pile of fronds waiting to be removed to the rubbish hole?????

This morning I have been our racking up the last of the rubbish from Sunday. It is so nice to see the winter sun again in the garden.

Orchids are popping out every where.

Such beautiful flowers to have in the garden

Such a delight to see bobbing in the breeze.I went out to take photo’s early this morning and never came back inside so now only have the after-noon left. I plan to turn some more long sleeved shirts for hubby in to short sleeved ones this after noon, only 7 to go.

7 shirts left to do?????

Finally I would like to finish my Sweet Pea

Esther's Sweet-pea side of bag.

Annabelle

Michelle's Annabelle side of bag called Sheepie

Tieshoulder-bag,

Side view of Mens tie gusset.

I just need to add the inside pockets and it is done, it has been so much fun to make.

What ever you are doing this Wednesday have fun Cheers Glenda

Monday 23rd July 2012

Oh gosh nearly another month gone from this year!!!!!  Have had a busy day in the garden tiding up from a big cut back of Palms over the week-end, now the sunlight can come through out the garden and no dark dingy places full of mossies.  Made some guaver jelly this morning and a hugh pot of pea and ham soup for tonight. Then Popped a DVD in and worked on my Sweetpea bag cover.

Have now hand stitched bias around bag shape.

It is slow work at the moment so not much progress that you can see, Stitched the bias on by hand to day so it is now ready to attach the gusset. With luck I will finish this tonight.

Cheers All Glenda

Sunday 22nd July 2012

Well life caught up with me again so no sewing and no blogging. Yesterday I managed to spend the afternoon working on my sweet-peas! I ironed on the stems

Stems ironed on to bag shape

to the bag shape and then sandwiched the bag shape with the backing and waddingBAg shape sandwiched ready for quiltingand machine sewed down the stems so that the stems are more or less quilted through all the 3thicknesses.Then quilted the rest of the bag around the edges of where the flowers won’t be. Last night while watching the Tour de France I appliqued on 3 of the flowers and the leaves,

It is now looking more like a wee quilt!!!!!!

it is nearly finished and it is good feeling to see it come alive. Hopefully to day will see me finish the applique and add the binding around the shape of the bag so I can add the men’s neck ties for the gusset and handles. But before I get to carried a way I have 6 dress shirts that need the sleeves cut off and turn  in to short dress shirts for hubbies work.  You can buy short sleeved dress shirts but there is not a big choice plus they are not so nicely finished as the long sleeve ones so I buy them and turn them into short sleeved ones???????

Have spent the last couple of hours out side in the garden watering the plants in holders which a very very  numerous; I have so many because it makes it much more difficult for the wild turkeys to dig out the plants to eat the roots?????? All my herbs are in hanging baskets that swing

3 swinging herb bowls hanging from a tripod hubby made for me.

this makes it even more difficult for them trying to perch while the basket is swinging; it is not funny to a frustrated wild turkey!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers Glenda

WIP on Wednesday with Esther Aliu http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com

So far I have only taken photo’s and been down to the Beach

7.30am just as I arrived this morning so so beautiful.

I decided to take some photo of my drive down to the beach and back of the fauna and flowers.  As I saw them this morning!!!!

Climbing the range

Going down the range

Units over looking the beach

My friend and her mum whom I meet up with every Wednesday morning.

IN full flower beside the beach what a colour!!!!!!

Even a lone fisherman

This is the time of the year when all the climbers are in bloom.

Time for neck exercises!!!! It is called the Jade vine unbelievable colour for a flower????

Close up of the Jade flower, a photo says a thousand words

Well the above flowers and such are not in my garden but what I saw this morning as I travelled to and from the beach.

What am I doing sewing wise today????? Adding some black lace to the edge of the inside pockets in one of my Tieshould-bags so it is easy to see the pockets.

One side of Tieshoulder-bag

Other side of bag!!!!!

Other sewing I have on my list is to make another or two if I’m lucky of my sweet pea flowers from Esther’s Sweet Pea design for July, I have all ready made two 3 to go!!!!!!! These are all made from Wool Felt.

Esther's Sweet Pea design. I'm making the flowers up as well as embroidering them before attaching to a Black felt Tieshoulder-bag

Well thats it for today, time to do that sewing before the day is done. If you would like to see more quiting sites pop over to Eshter’s blog at http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com  Cheers Glenda

I spent the day cleaning a inside wall

Changing the colour at the entrance!!!!!

of the entrance to our home  ready for painting, it took me from 10am till 4pm and only one coat added. I have decide to go with white hoping it will make this area lighter.

Well it worked it is much lighter, now to find time to add the second coat!!!!!!

To night I did the final stitching on my Obi and Evening top Tieshoulder-bag.

Obi side of Tieshoulder-bag

Other side of Tieshoulder-bag I used a black evening top to make this side up??????

SO now 3 completed 2 to go????? Off to watch some more of the Tour De France. France is such a beautiful beautiful country to visit.

Happy stitching every one. Cheers Glenda

Felts I choose to appliqué on to black felt

Stems I have cut out of cotton fabric with iron on fusing then first sweet pea placed in to position.

2nd Sweet Pea

4 flowers now. I'm making the flowers first then will sew them to the back ground.

All cut out and in place, now hours of work ahead to appliqué them all on to the black felt which will become the back or front of a Tieshoulder-bag.

WOW or WIP Wednesday 10th July 2012

How did it get to 3pm Wednesday????? Wednesday nearly sneaked by me today.

I took a friend down to cairns for her 6 monthly cancer scan,  thinking we would be down there waiting for 4 hrs like the norm I went well prepared with hand sewing, I took Annabelle and managed to finish of my Bumble bee but that was all;

Just noticed that Annabelle needs some rough!!!!!!!

when the radiologist realised how far my friend had travelled and he could see she had a heavy head cold he told her to go home and pick the x rays up next week before I take her to see the specialist, so we were out of there in 30 mins, so we went down to the pier and sat and watched the boats for 30 mns over coffee and came home. I stopped off at the Opp Shop as it is closes Wednesday and did a clean up for 40 mins. Home to the washing as it is NOT raining, I washed one of my sample king size quilts I use to teach that I’m quilting by hand and have been quilting for the last 6 years??????  it was so grubby and guess what one of the reds ran!!!!!!!!!

Just washed by machine only 1/2 way through hand quilting it, red that ran does not look so bad now it is nealy dry, just a soft blush pink here and there??????

it does not matter some times how careful you think you have been the red will run once in a 100 times, it is not drastic but there are shades of pink where there should not be!!!!!! I spent 40 mins in the garden picking up fronds and branches after the storm we had Monday night and popped some more plants in with my Buddha.

Raised my Buddha and added some more plants .

. Popped a loaf of bread on, bottled the honey I have been draining from the comb

Honey just been bottled.

Revamped a couple of sleeping pillows as the old covers were looking rather sad. Instead of using the usual calico fabric I went over board with two different greens!!!!

Bed pillows revamped!!!!! They look like new pillows now????

Made a couple of inside pockets for my Mini Log-cabin Tieshoulder-bag.

Pocket ready to stitch on my hand on the inside of mini Tieshoulder-bag. I make contrasting pockets if the lining is dark as they are easier to see.

Opened up my sewing machine as it is such a lovely day today,

My winter sewing area looking towards the swimming pool.

Joined two ties by sewing machine ready for my next Tieshoulder-bag

Ties ready for sewing with tails tucked in to each other these become gusset's and the ties for the shoulder straps.

Now  they are sewn waiting to be finished with hand sewing then added to the front and back of bag

As soon as I finish hand sewing the bias on the the front and back of this bag I can sew on the ties and it is finished. Roughly 5 hrs hand sewing.

So I have not done a lot of sewing but have prepared a lot to do??????

Now off to link this with Esther’s WOW on her blog. http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com join us and even link with us over there.

Happy sewing every one. Cheers Glenda from Down Under

Raining!!!! very low cloud so I can not even see the river so it looks like it is here to stay for the day. This morning I have my Opp Shop work my morning of laughter, best medicine in the world for all that ails you???????

Yesterday the wet weather stayed all day so I managed with the rain and watching the Tour De France last night to get a lot done on my Tieshoulder-bags!!!! I managed to complete the front and back of the Mini log-cabin bag

Front of Mini log-cabin bag

Back of Mini log-cabin bag

During the day I completed the back of the bag for my Evening dress Tieshoulder-bag!!!!!!

Front and back of a Tieshoulder-bag to be!!!!!!!

Front and back are complete with Bias binding added ready for the tie’s to be added as a gusset and the shoulder ties.

Back of black evening top Tieshoulderbag, made form part of 100% silk obi which is the formal wide belt worn over the dress Kimono

Back of this bag is made form an old Obi which is the formal wide belt worn when going to a social function. I even managed to quilt the back and bind it with a satin black bias, now I just need to finish hand sewing the bias on and I can add the tie gusset and shoulder ties and another one finished. I must admit that I worked most of the day on this back roughly10 hrs so to make a bag takes me several days!!!!! All the hand sewing of the bias and attaching the ties was done last night while I watched the Tour De France from 10pm till 1.30am!!!!!!!!!!

for my mini log-cabin  Tiesoulder-bag and even managed to machine quilt it too; then added the bias binding by hand last night while watch Tour De France. Also added the bias on my Annabelle bag.

Bias ready for hand sewing on Annabelle bag

Now to find time to make 3 more backs for these bags

Fronts of five Tieshoulder-bags

and my gifts for Japan will be finished.  I have just turned on the TV to watch the recording of the Tour De France that we copied last night to find the programme locked up 5 mins after it started recording, thank goodness I sat up till 12 .30 last night watching it so have only missed the last 40 mins I was just to tired to watch any longer I will see the last of the race on you tube, best part of watching the Tour De France as it does not start till 10pm down here is I’m getting a lot of hand sewing done!!!!!

Fresh cover for one of the Patio summer chairs of Laure's

Managed to get enough fabric together for the other swab.

Laure's Patio chair cushions looking refreshed but now chairs look shabby?????

Now the chairs them selves look shabby may be I need to steam clean them and give then a coat of white paint?????

I finally finished a adorable design by Michele http://xstitchalley.blogspot.com.au/ of Annabelle called Sheepie

I’m now sandwiching My Tieshoulder-bag Sheepie which I finished finally last night

Sandwhiched ready for quilting, I have used silk from an old Kimono for the backing or inside of the bag.

then I can turn it in to a bag as I have made the back all ready for it.

WOW Linking with Esther’s blog today 4th July 2012

What a difference a day makes?????  Since 9am I have been out working at my sewing machine area, not sewing but working on the table area’s it is soooooooo much warmer and NO wind.  I was off at 7am this morning to join up with my friend from Japan for our walk along the Esplanade, it was just beautiful down there, I left here with 4 layers on and took two off down there, it is only 30 mins away by car but 1000feet lower than we are on the coast.  We had a lovely hour walking from one end of the beach and back again, sorry but I forgot my camera!!!!!!! You could tell the locals they were all in long sleeve tops with long trousers  and the tourists were in shorts and sleeve less tops and a couple were even in swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today’s projects are all lined up out on my wee veranda????

To do to day maybe!!!! Hem 3 pairs of trousers, sew seam on cleaned cushion, make a backing for one of my Tieshoulder-bags out of this evening black top!!!!

Well I got so carried away thinking about making the evening top part of my bag I did it straight away, here it is ready to sew to the black felt?????

This was my evening top now part of a BAG!!!!!!

It will be the back of one of my Annabelle Tieshoulder-bags.

Is it the front  or the back of the Annabelle bag??????? To see how to make these Tieshoulder-bags check out older post.

I could not stop it is now 1pm and I have a front or back of a Tieshoulder-bag quilted and finished ready for the bias binding to be added around the perimeter of bag!!!!! I machine quilted this as there were so many thickness’s,  the other lining for the bag is cut out ready for using, it is silk from a kimono. Click on photo’s to see detail.Machine quiltered as there were so many thinknesses to hand quilt, lining cut out for the other side of Bag, it is silk from a kimono.

What a difference quilting does to the finished article. Last night I sat and quilted one of the fronts of my Mini log-cabin

One front of a tieshoulder-bag mostly hand quilted and the other only the centres of each Mini logcabin is, what a difference quilting does,

Tieshoulder-bags while watching the Tour De France I hope to finish it tonight when I watch some more!!!!!

Flowers in the garden today;

Hanging just above my sewing area. Snow flakes

Orchid. Stunning colour!!!!!!

These orchids are in our driveway not shade or glass house.

It is so lovely having flowers in the garden again.

Well I have become cold sitting doing my blog inside I have to go back out where the sun is, I will have to learn to do my blog on my iPad so I can do it in the sun.??????

Off to link up with Esther’s blog http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com     Where ever you are have a happy day. Cheers Glenda

Tuesday 3rd July 2012

No sewing done to day but heaps of other things. Did volunteering work till 1pm.  and came home with another old box of buttons, these were given to me by another lady who works in the Opp Shop with me; so I spent a happy hour looking through them all!!!!!!

More Buttons!!!!!

Then time  to do some house work for myself but no power, soooo sad not able to do any vacuuming, ironing,or  washing,  so finished off moving my machine sewing tables

Now I can sew and be lovely and warm again. Where my machine was temp was 20.5C and here it is 25.4C Hard to believe but true. Back area gets no sun in the winter and the cold comes off the river.

My pot-plant snowflakes is loving the sun and is covered in beautiful frail flowers.

Snowflakes

Last night I did manage to sew the Tie straps to the front of my Tieshoulder-bag, here is a close up of the outside of bag and inside; you can see by adding the bias it gives a nice finish no rough seams any where.

Outside of bag where gusset joins Tieshoulder-straps.

inside of bag where Tiestrap gusset is attached to front of bag.

Cheers for today. Glenda

2nd July 2012

Been a busy morning moving my sewing machine area

Where I have been machine sewing

from the back veranda to the Patio tiny veranda

It so lovely and sunny here through the winter as you can see.

out the front of the house were the winter sun streams in most of the day and it is warm, where the back veranda now is soooooooooooooo cold?????? well down to 20 and a cool breeze!!!!!!  to to cold for me to sit and sew in.  So this morning I cleaned an area ready to move my sewing tables, cleaned all the sewing tables, fans, and cabinets off mould ready to move

It use to be my father in-laws office desk, I painted it and made it in to my sewing desk?? Its about 80 years old solid old timber

I even managed to do a little sewing this after-noon, last night I did manage to sew the bias around the edge of one of the fronts of my Tieshoulder-bags and this after-noon I made a tie gusset and now it is pinned to the front of the tiny log-cabin front

Tieshoulder-bag front made of Tiny log-cabin blocks, click on photo and you can see how I fit the ties together.

waiting for me to attach by hand tonight. Also pined another bias on to another front ready to hand sew on so the bags are slowly progressing through the different stages. All for today. Cheers Glenda

1st July 2012

Spent the morning giving the kitchen a fright. I can never understand how when they sell you a oven they tell you and you don’t have to clean it????? and show you where it says self cleaning!!!!!, my oven still gets greasy racks and floor oven needs a good scrub from time to time. Today I cleaned that self cleaning oven, now I can see in to the oven as I have clean glass and the racks look silver again and the oven  floor is shiny again!!!!! Around 2pm SDS and Sandra picked us up for lunch at the local village and we spent a lovely couple of hours there with them, then they came back here for the night.  I managed to make a cover for one of Jon and Laure’s patio chair swabs that the cover had perished on, and sandwiched two fronts of a couple of Tieshoulder-bags

Patio chair backing swab getting a new cover and two Tieshoulder-bag front ready for quilting and the bias binding to be added around the edges.

ready for quilting and even managed to sew the bias binding on to them by machine and have one ready now pinned ready to hand sew down, so tomorrow I hope to get started on the backs for these two bags!!!!  Time will tell.  Now going to watch a little of the Tour de france which is shown here from 10pm till 2am each evening!!!!!!! and sew at least one bias down. I won’t be staying up all night Rod has set the machine to copy it so I can watch it tomorrow after-noon.

Oh yes I moved this little critter from my washing machine this morning with a dish cloth to outside in to the garden!!!!

Rather attractive but not inside my house thank you!!!!!

Cheers for now Glenda

29th June 2012

What am I up too today?????

Working on two of my tie bags today. One is some tiny log-cabins I sewed together several months ago (I have these wee log-cabins on the go always and they get made up while waiting in waiting rooms, it is surprising how many get made over a few months.) may be over a year for a tie shoulder-bag.

Tiny log-cabin on the way to be a Tieshoulder bag.

These are my own personal gifts I give when travelling as I find that some-thing personal is appreciated more than OZ souvenirs  to the other craft people I meet up with.

Other Tieshoulder bag is another tiny Annabelle design

Annabelle and Sheepie going out on a Adventure?????

of Michele’s http://xstitchalley.blogspot.com.au/  that I’m testing. If you want to see more Annabelle designs in the pipeline visit Michele’s blog I just love this tiny wee Bunny and her adventures.  So I feel very privileged to able  to test them for Michele.

I’m thinking I should blog each day or when I’m quilting to motivate me more to stop house work and sew instead?????

Today the sun keeps popping out and it looks so beautiful out side  I think I will move my sewing table out side under the umbrella. Cheers All Glenda

27th June 2012 WOW or WIP’s with Esther http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com

Well it is a very miserable day out side

Range of hills around us covered in cloud

and I have a big smile on my face as it means I have to stay inside ALL day!!!!!!!!  So I will be able to finish my Forgetmenot shoulder-bag in side of bag is only pined at this stage, I stayed up to very  very early this morning as I just had to start sewing those last two seams.  I have been asked by a few how small are my stitches to whip stitch these final seams,

Whip stitching the tie gusset to the bag front needle is 1/14inches long and there are 40 stitches there. But you can use a machine. Click on photo to see more clearly

I use a number 11 needle and two threads of bottom-line thread and do 20 stitches to the inch, stitches are about 1/16 or less as you are just picking up the very edge of the silk tie gusset and the edge of the bag.

Looks like it is ready to go shopping??????? Thank you Esther for a beautiful design.

(Above design by Esther Aliu from her BOM this year

http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com)

I may even have some time to work on my felt Annabelle shoulder-bag also.

Balloons and Annabelle with Kitty; at this stage just playing nothing is sewn on. You need to check out Michele's link to see more of Annabelle. This Annabelle is off to Japan in September.

My DMS is coming to visit me today also so what more can a mother ask for.

Another of to days projects is to finish sorting buttons buttons and more buttons?????

Shirt buttons galore!!!!!!

A very dear friend emptied out her  button draw in to a plastic bag and gave it to me yesterday as she knows I have a thing about buttons and marbles. Much to my delight I found 30 tiny tiny buttons in amongst the 1000 roughly shirt buttons!!!! (Pat’s hubby used to wear dress shirts and when they were no longer wearable she would remove the buttons and use the shirts as cleaning rags!!!!!) I need these tiny tiny buttons  for my Annabelle blocks, they are like dolls buttons and we do not have a supplier up here of these dolls buttons, so that is another problem solved for me.  So if any of you have a supply you don’t want any more I’m willing to swap Japanese silk fabrics for them.

Here is a creepy crawly

About 6inchs long!!!!! Not the kind I want inside!!!!!!

that was caught by his barb feet on our front door  fly-screen last week. I placed a towel over him and removed him to a tree in the garden. He was not aggressive.

Garden is just toooo wet for photo’s this week?????

To join in with other quilters pop over to Esther’s blog each Wednesday and link up as well if you want to. .

Now 10.30pm and I have just added the last stitch to my shoulder-bag!!!!!!!!

Completed!!!!!!!

http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com

Cheers for now happy stitching Glenda.

Tuesday 26th June 2012

This afternoon I cut out some 1 1/2inch black silk bias for around the top of the bag and stitched it on.  Then I joined two ties together to make my gusset

Ties tucked in to one another to make gusset; then where they join are sewn by machine .

for the shoulder bag, (See older posts for the beginning of bag) slide one inside the other then sew them together by machine, the trick is to choose two ties the same width at the bottom of ties so they sit neatly, wider the tail the wide your gusset is going to be. Pin gusset to the inside of  back of bag

Gusset pinned to back of bag

now whip stitch pieces together like you do when joining paper pieced  hexagons, small tight stitches very close together for strength..

Pin front to the tie gusset and whip stitch together.

pin front of bag to tie gusset and whip stitch together also.

Now turn bag inside out and Hey Presto!!!!! you have a lovely finished should bag, tie the  tie ends to the length you like.

Completed bag almost????????? Front on view. It is only pinned but I just wanted to show you what it will look like.

Side view of red tie gusset. Click on photo's to see larger view.

Back of shoulder bag

side view of grey tie tie gusset

Felt shoulder-bag looks like it is ready to go shopping?????? Thank you Esther

Tomorrow for WOW  or WIP at Esther’s blog

http://www.estheraliu.blogspot.com I will turn it inside out again and whip stitch it all together then it really will be finished. So thank you Esther for a lovely design and for inspiring this shoulder-bag.

Cheers Glenda
