Update:- 4.30pm Wednesday 10th This avo I have pulled my 3rd SG block I made this up weeks ago just after it was released had it at this stage nothing but the vase and cat ironed down when accidentally some one moved it and my wee dog jumped on top of it!!!! all those pieces went every where there are still two stems missing one is the main one the flows down the front of the vase hopefully I can find enough fabric to make a new one????

I have spent the avo rebuilding my block 3 of TSG There are two stems and two leaves still issing some where in my workroom area????? Now I need to make the rim of the vase and iron down those pieces before it happens again LOL

10pm Wednesday. Spent the rest of the avo and early evening on my block and now its all ironed down so I can not loose any pieces again or have to start from scratch again!!!!!
Update Wednesday some where in the world but not here in OZ !!!!! Took the photo this morning in the daylight.

Colours are truer in the daylight I took this photo this morning its still Wednesday some where in the world!!!!!
Its been a slow week as far as productivity goes. I finished the 365quiltycircles quilt top so very pleased there.

Where I was last week These are all sewn together now and waiting to be sandwiched and then hand quilted.

All sewn together now if you look closely they are sewn up differently than when they were laid out last week!
Then as Id finished that well on time of my 21 days allotted to it I picked up my Bargello wall quilt and have been sashiko quilting that and having so much fun just letting needle and thread go were it wants to.
Yesterday when looking for some thing I came across a old swap or round-robyn I’d done in PNG about 20 years ago. there were 8 of us in the swap, we had to make a 1 to 1 1/2 metre square out of scraps of fabric we had no problem as there were no shops in PNG any way to buy new fabric LOL Add some thing to the finsihed piece of fabric we had made and give it a name, I added the water lollies and called it The Pond!!!! after 8 weeks this is what came back to me???? I did add the leaves in the top right hand corner afterwards as there was a large empty space there. We were all new to quilting and had no idea but we wanted to learn and some one had read about these mystery swaps we had fun and learnt a lot LOL

DGD who I was baby sitting was fascinated by it, I hung it at the end of my cutting table and DGD sat the whole time looking at it while she ate her lunch, I said do you like it “YES” would you like me to finish for you to take home, “can we sew it together next time I come?” So this is what we will be doing next time she comes for the day aged 4 may be a future quilter?
.
In the garden today same place minus all the over grown vegetation.

This leaf is a week old!!!!!!! around 6 feet now? Some times I think I can see them growing things grow so fast here?
Off to link up with Esther Aliu on her WOW OR WIP’s today my goodness she is an amazing caring and sharing quilter and designer.
For those of you you read down this far LOL thank you for dropping in. Cheers Glenda who has just discovered the joy of sashiko quilting.
Oh Glenda, such fascinating flowers. That red spindly thing looks more like something that should be in the sea lol. Love , love your sashiko work, that is simply beautiful and so unusual. I would love to see the round circle one, you say its silk. Bet that is stunning to look at.
DGD is going to be so proud of herself when she sets to work on this lovely piece that she will own.
Your plants grow even faster than mine do, you have been so busy in your garden. I have that Dracena, the 5th pic down with the pretty green and pink leaves
Love your 365 circles quilt – well done for piecing it, it looks amazing with all those wonderful Kimono? fabrics 🙂
You have been a true butterfly this week, haven’t you? Flitting from project to project – and all of them so beautiful! Your sashiko is amazing – love that you are enjoying let it take you around the quilt in such a fun way.
Bad luck with your SG block, though – I hope that you find the lost parts so that you can complete it without needing to remake them. It’s always frustrating when that sort of thing happens, isn’t it?
You’ve put a lot of work into your path clearing – it looks totally worthwhile in order to be able to access the garden.
Enjoy that time with your DGD – how lovely that she wants to stich on that fun pond piece with you. Cherish every moment!
love the quilting and just can never get over how fast thinks grow there! it can over take you fast I’m sure!
Hi Glenda,
Wow, the quilting on your quilt is just fabulous. So beautiful. ~smile~

Dear Glenda
Your quilting looks beautiful. Love the Bargello and all the circles. You got me going with them. Fate stepped in, love the black on the vase. LOL you will find the missing pieces and will hopefully be able to use them with another Secret Garden block?
Your garden grows well, we hope to achieve just a portion of that by the end of summer.
Great progress on those projects. Glad you got the flowers fused down. They look lovely. And. The sashiko is gorgeous. The vegetation in Your yard is incredible.
