What fun I’m having with my lovely Japanese taupe fabrics, it is fun to see them been used again and not just sitting in piles on my shelves. So again many thanks Audrey

4 circles on background squares I made in the middle of the night while I could not sleep, I decided to make a cup of tea and sit up in bed making a few circles????? Great thing to do when you can not sleep LOL
I try to complete one or more complete square each day, I have been cutting out lots of circles to have ready to work on over the next 4 weeks while family and friends are here as I will need to pack away everything else now till mid Jan or later. This avo I want to unpick some more of the Kimono so I can cut up at least another 20 plus tiny squares.
For the last week I have been making up prominently orange and red circles
and watching but mainly listening to The Dark Crystal, Narnia, Wuthering Heights, and today Legend of the Guardians quiet a mixture, it makes me smile to be watching these stories instead of reading them while I sew, fancy been able to do two things at once, I sure would of loved that when I was bringing up my boys LOL. When I was a child I read Jane Eyre over and over but I could not work out who was related to who in Wuthering Heights now after watching the DVD 3 times!!!!! I finally get it LOL.

As you can see I’m still playing around with placements of these little blocks and there is more orange added, orange is not seen to often in the outer garment on women’s Kimonos and red usually only used as a liner of a Kimono. Only some of these are completed many need to have the edges rolled around the freezer paper and then appliquéd on to the squares of fabric.
love, love your circles – I have a bunch of them cut out and need to finishing prepping today so I will have them on hand to sew also. love that green frog
Hi Karen, I’m meant to be at work to day but not 100% so staying quiet instead. Have been answering some mail from bed. Have even visited you and you sure have been busy with all your Xmas decorations all up how lovely and homely your home looks; what a welcome when people call. Hugs Glenda
Glenda your 12 days of christmas looks so beautiful, love how different it looks with the baubles seperate to the tree and those candles, WOW what an impact.
Your little circles look fabulous, have been up to the site and am so tempted to start but I need to get back to LE for a few weeks after Christmas first.
Have a very happy christmas with your family, Hugs Jenny
Thanks Jenny, yes we both made our lovely 12 Days of Xmas design by Esther our own by changing a few things, I love the bows you added to yours. Sending you lots of Christmas cheer and hope you manage to find time for your lovely lovely LE again next year. Hugs Glenda
