Hello every one, May has arrived and I was still thinking we were in Summer????? For us it seems like it is as we only get real rain in the middle of summer Dec through till March normally; and it is still raining here.
Our good news is Rocket is able to use all 4 legs again with the help of painkillers and inflammatory tablets. I know how he feels so can help him be comfortable when lying down so he has no pressure points. We will grow old together in this area???? Instead of going to the beach today I will be taking him back to the vets for a follow up!!!!!
While sewing the other day look who came to visit
They are so beautiful and we are always
so happy to see them.
This old single quilt
came in to the Opp Shop last week and needed a little repair, it had no batting in it so had not been quilted, but had been well used. It is now fixed and back in the shop to be sold and used some more.
I have FINALLY finished the last of my corner stone hearts for Peaceful Pathways; I added the last stem stitches
last night while watching several hrs of TV, or should I say listening to TV. I’m several months behind what I had set my self on this quilt but I’m enjoying working on it so much it does not matter.
I have finished sewing my wee hexagon bag,
this was very very fiddly to make and I’m not sure I if I will ever make another one, it is the sewing the wee hexagons in to a bag that is so time consuming. I have yet to add the lining and the catch on the front of the bag.
For the rest of the day I’m hoping for a quiet day as this week is an extra busy one every day except to day.
Cheers all Glenda
If you would like to pop in and say hi please
Remember to tick the wee box where it says
Please check to prove YOU ARE human. Thank you. This is the last line just above comment box????? This is to stop the spam!!!!
Gotta love Rocket, and the cute little frog, and love your wee bag as well, glad Rocket is up and about again, pets sure can worry us when they older and more sickly just like their human friends. Take care, Heidi
Hi Glenda,
Love the frogs.. they are so engaging, especially when they eat something they don’t like! We used to have some as pets, but of course more complicated down here – too cold so they need a special set up – yours just come and go as they please…much better!!
Cheers
Oh I love that phot od the frog so adorable, nice old quilt and happy to see puppy on all fours. That little hexie bag is cute as anything.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs Bunny
Finally I can comment again!! Hi Glenda, looks like you have been super busy and productive as usual. I love that rocket is feeling better, it’s so hard when we know our companions need our help, good to hear he’s on the mend. Winter is well and truly arrived down here, it’s been raining for days, so I wont complain as it is so good for the garden. And good for staying inside and sewing!!! That peaceful pathways corner block is looking beautiful….. great work Glenda!!
Yay for Rocket!!!
