That’s a tiny cross stitch Waratah Australian flower in the centre of this Healing Heart. I did it at least 15 or 20 years ago, keep some thing long enough and you find a place or use for it LOL.
For some reason my photo on Esther’s blog for WOW is upside down LOL Iv’e deleted the photo and taken a new photo but it’s still show upside down LOL
Now we have a pink heart to?
WOW or WIPs again! My week has been busy out side the home so not much progress with any thing much and through been away for home and NO sewing I lost my mojo to sew in the evenings I guess we all go through times where we just don’t have the energy to sew? I’ve only been appliqueing wee flowers down and sewing them 8n to strips with the 9 patches but also sewing those 1 1/2 inch squares as my starters and Enders so have a wee pile of Healing Hearts now for those who need a little support over on Esther’s BOM group
These are some of my Healing Hearts so glad I don’t need them my self?
Where I was up to last week on sewing all these wee blocks together?
Added another row last week
Completed two more rows up to last night these meant the 3 longest strip are done so I’m over 1/2 way!
To day I’m working towards the far corner so getting close to finishing!
Some of these are so cute and adorable
Having so much fun making and appliqueing these wee blocks
To give you an idea how small those wee circles are.
Whats flower in the garden today?
Another much more dainty orchid
Sun about to set?
This is a palm flower looks more like some thing from space
Stunning orchid out side in full bloom
Thanks for visiting and staying till the end LOL. Off to join up with others linking to Esther’s WOW or WIP’s Hope to see you again next week Cheers Glenda.
Just crazy about all these beautiful orchids in your garden. Love your healing hearts, they are so special and will cheer anybody with those happy colours. Your nine patch quilt is looking amazing. Sewing at night time can get tricky, especially when one want to match a thread colour. Very brave of you to sew at night.
Those tiny blue circles are amazing!
Hi Suzy nice to see you drop in wish it was in real and we were chatting over a cuppa LOL I have another of those hyacinths to make yet Suzy and those circles are even smaller cross your fingers I get that one right too LOL May be today I will tackle them I only have 6 more wee blocs to make and Im home on this quilt top. Not sure what I will add in the white borer area or just leave it fresh and white with quilting? Like you I was hoping to sew to day but its now 9am and not a stitch done a friend has just dropped in for a cuppa and this avo is out for me so may be tonight!!!!! Been so close to a finish you just want to sew LOL Cheers Glenda
I like your nine patch with the applique it is so nice! I always like a quilt like this on point as you put it. Sometimes in the evenings we just want to sit back and watch a tv show or read a book and relax!
Wonderful flower applique! Wouh, the circles are very small. Love the color and the shine!

Your garden is a fabulous place for inspiration for your appliques. You’re getting close to having thst top complete.
Hi Kyle, I ran in to a brick wall 5 days ago I lost my mojo for sewing completely, been very tired lately and I did not even want to pick up a needle or sit at my sewing machine, then night before night around 9 pm I wanted to play with my wee flower blocks and I’m back in business LOL. To day I’ve been more in the garden than inside and it was lovely not to hot and not to cold! Not long and we will be able to just relax again by the swimming pool and get eaten by mosquitoes LOL. Cheers Glenda.
Oh my, so many tiny tiny blocks! Love your Healing Hearts too
