I just remembered it was that time of the month again for 6andin2018 horrors of horrors next month will be December????
Just seems like I wrote up last months after forgetting for several month, well I did not forget just didn’t remember in time to link LOL. I can not even remember what I did this month will have to look at my photo’s, thank goodness I keep them all in my iPad.
Well it was spent finishing off lots of quilts that only needed an hours work to complete them and the rest was spent on my starts and enders scrappy quilt? Oh and I hemmed 3 curtains for one of the spare rooms does that count as sewing LOL
Some times borders just flow you don’t have to think about the design it’s just there, then you some times you just hit a brick wall? This is what happened when I wanted to add a extra border to the top and bottom of my Scrappy Starts and Enders Quilt?
Sorting out this border took me longer than sewing up the centre blocks?????
Thank you Anne and Meredithe for encouraging us all. Cheers Glenda
Gorgeous quilts. Thank you for showing all the different tries.
Thank you Pamela there were sure plenty of tries LOL But I was getting to complicated and it needed simple, I will use this design again and again now as I like it so much. To day hemming drapes for a young friend not so interesting but they are for a lovely young friend so I’m enjoying doing them for her. Hope the colours of Autumn are still with you? Cheers Glenda
I love your Queen’s Garden. And your starter and enders quilt is a fabulous way to use up scrap squares. Vickie’s suggestion was right on. A productive month for you, Glenda. Congratulations.
Hi Angie, been very hot down here today and I’ve just been in the pool to cool down again its 5pm and still around 27C. To hot to quilt, I was sitting this after-noon around 3 pm hand quilting part of a kingsize quilt and then realised just how hot I was under the quilt LOL Think its more pieced work than quilting quilts time now with the hot weather coming. I have tarted making 2 inch starts and enders again they pile up so quickly. Cheers Glenda
