Hello All, 2019 is winding down very fast. Last week I’ve been mostly unpicking silk Kimono’s to do some more dying. So nothing new to show in the sewing department, so showing some quilts from the past and the garden yesterday.
Last nights sunset from the front veranda was very beautiful.
WIP’s still but waiting for my leg to be able to sit for a hour or more at the sewing machine ?
Such a beautiful centre loved working on this centre. Every thing just went together so beautifully.
Was a huge learning curve making this mini wall quilt those wee houses are 3inchsquare?
Such a beautiful centre designed by Esther, of course as usual I changed some of it? Used fussy cutting flowers instead of her blooms. Great use of some beautiful Japanese blooms .
Loved making this centre. These silks just glow.
Diamond Hill, I did not use this vase in the end.
Diamond Hill

Diamond Hill waiting for me to work on it again, a stunning design and wonderful to make. Oh to be able to use my sewing machine again.

Thankgoodness for the pool right now, yesterday and the day before were 33C and 34.5 C!!! Forecasted for hotter days to come this week!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope can visit your place in return. Cheers Glenda.
we will need to clean our decking next spring as I didn’t do it this summer I try to do it every other year although some parts of it really could use it every year as we get pretty muggy here too but nothing like your area! Your applique is so beautiful I’m glad you have this wonderful art to keep you occupied while healing!!
I think maybe you dated this wrong? Here we are just freezing every day, with highs in the low 40’s F. Fog, rain, and your lush summer photos are a treat.
That Diamond Hill is stunning! Just amazing. Looks like you have Queen’s Garden lingering as well. Hoping you get back to your machine soon and in the meantime, enjoy that pool.
