I was asked about my HH I have written and sent out thank you notes to many and still doing this, so if you have not heard from me it may still be in the mail . I thought you might like to see some of these lovely HH all so lovely all Arrived when they were so desperately needed. Never doubt that they are not needed and appreciated if you send them.
My first HH from Inez who was going on holiday the next day but took the time to make and post me this lovely HH.
Thought I’d share a little from the year.
My first house from HOTYH.
It takes time changing the top threads but worth it for that look I want. flower from WIL
A shoulder bag I like to make every now and then, its practical, holds a lot when shopping and fun to make?
Large buttons added to help the wear on the bottom of the bag plus keeps it clean when put down?
This block ended up been the first one to get its stemwaves and fish !!! WIL!!!
Finally have my machine again after 6 weeks of no sewing machine, working on appliqueing down my pansy blocks HOTYH
Sadly it falling apart just due to constant use. Some thing any quilter loves to see as it tells you it has been loved and used. I stitched down some applique that was falling off and patched a nasty piece of fabric that had parted just so worn. This is the first quilt I ever made all done by hand.

a couple of Mums memory blocks I was working on.
Each block was made from some special handkerchiefs given to my mum in the 1950’s!!!!
Enjoyed working on this quilt, silks and cottons.
All made from beginners and enders except the top and bottom borders!!!!
I finished!!! I did not realise I’m made so many things ???
Have been machine appliqueing leaves down to day so
I can start adding hand applique grapes, Ive also been sitting watching a TV series while hand turning those grapes. I love sitting doing hand applique in the evenings
Finally finished and on its way!!!
Made with French knots and Colonial knots!
I find this kind of work relaxing?
