I wish you all a very very Merry Christmas.
It has been a wonderful year for me been able to visit all your blogs through Esther’s WOW or WIP’s each week, I think of it as my weekly magazine now. Leaning many quilting tips, sharing gardens, cooking and travelling with you. Then chatting to many of you each week. How wonderful the internet is for us quilters all around the world now to be able to share our love of quilting.
We have all our family home this Christmas and my 3 Darling Daughter In Laws are cooking dinner we just have to turn up and eat it. LOL. I was just asked to make a couple of family dishes that I have all ways made the main one is a Icecream plum pudding that I have made for the boys since they were children and now their children love it to. I told how to make this on my blog last year.
Cheers ALL Glenda
My goodness it is still the 23rd here in Canada and very warm for this time of year. There should be a foot of snow but instead it is 45F or 14C out there. I made the turkey and stuffing last year and the 21 visitors made the rest and did the clean up last year. I will look up that ice cream plum pudding, It sounds wonderful. merry Christmas to you and yours.
Chris
Merry Christmas to you Glenda – it has been a pleasure getting to know you through weekly check ins – the internet is a wonderful place for quilters isn’t it. Our younger daughter and family (grandchildren!) well be coming to visit for three days and arrive the day after Christmas – it will be so nice to spend time with them. The grands are growing up so quickly – just yesterday they were babies and now 15 & 13! where have the years flown. Have a good time with your family
Hi Glenda, just wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It is still Wednesday here and I still have a couple of gifts to finish but I should be done by tomorrow. We had snow on Monday(quite unexpected) but it didn’t last long fortunately. I am glad that all your family is home for the holidays. We will be seeing all of ours tomorrow for dinner. Take care and stay safe, Julie
